Hey guys! I'm Captain TJ Willacker USCG Licensed

I started working on my first charter boat when I was just 12 years old. Fishing from a very early age was more than just the fish on the end of the line, or the dinner on the plate. Before I could drive, I devoloped a true love for the sport. My entire life has been centered around helping people enjoy everything fishing has to offer. The sights, the sounds, the experiences fishing offers is second to nothing on this earth. My passion, my love for the sport is second to none one.

I grew up fishing the Great Lakes for salmon and trout, building a very sucessful charter fishing business in Michigan. After having multiple boats in my fleet, I decided I wanted something more. I began coming to the Florida Keys during the winter, and training with some of the most experienced charter captains on the island. The love of fishing compelled me to sell my business in Michigan, and move to Islamorada full time.

As a full time first mate, and fill in Captain, I've been able to live my true passion in a year round fishery. Fishing over 300 times a year for the past several years. Truly spending more time on the water than on dry land.

Fishing around Islamorada is extremely challenging, intricate, and CAN introduce novice and expert fisherman to some of the most amazing experiences they can have in the United States.
